Thanks, but, honestly, for non-native English speakers the connection between these 2 options is rather vague.Smile

BTW, I have the impression that some strings in 4.0 are hard-coded. I've tried freshly translated .po file from Transifex and some strings remain untranslated though the Russian strings.po file is fully translated. I've used English strings.po instead of xml too.

Various options in Skin Settings here and there - Main Menu Item customizer, "Now Playing" settings, Credits. Also "Background Customizer" string.
You can use this Russian .po file: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/24356082/strings.po
You don't need to speak Russian to spot untranslated strings, and being a skin developer I guess you know your way in the skin and won't get lost due to unfamiliar language.Smile
I can try to create XML language file and to see how it works, but I don't see the point. XBMC is moving to .po language files and .xml support becomes obsolete.

cannot spot any hardcoded labels there.

Uptated the last version from git - most of the problems are gone. However, there are still hardcoded strings:
- All the "Stats" and "Weather Info" options in "Set InfoLine" customizer.
- The label for the new section "Paths" and 2 options in this section: "MovieWall folder" (what does in mean BTW?) and "Library Structure".

the untranslated ones are in since some days, will translate them from time to time. MovieWall is similar to cdWall. you can point to a folder with movie covers and you´ll get a dynamic background.

RE: Translations - mikebzh44 - 2013-01-02

Phil, where "XBMC Cinema" and "XBMC trailer" are used ?

I will translate them but don't know the context ?

Is it a youtube or dailymotion channel ?

For "Youtube user uploads" and "Youtube user favorites", does it means that when you are registered in youtube and the addon / skin is well set up, you can display your uploads and favorites ?

So is it correct to translate those strings as synonym of "Youtube : your uploads" and "Youtube : your favorites" ? Because strings will be shorten in French.

they´re rss pipes used in the rss widget dialog.
you can display uploads / favourites of any youtube user with that feature.
so yes, it´s correct.

RE: Translations - mikebzh44 - 2013-01-02

Does it mean I can display Phil65 favorites even if I'm Mikebzh44 ?

So "your" is not a synonym of "user". I though it was linked to user logon.

also works for other youtube users. and no need for login.
