Troubleshoot infra red issues - Brtrnd - 2011-11-25
Hello
I have a xbmc live + streamzap + harmony remote.
Since I have configured the xbmc in some activities the remote doesn't work anymore.
Sometimes when starting the activity the light of the streamzap reciever wil stay red;
Sometimes when I click a button, nothing happens: the light on the reciever gets red but nothing happens.
If I use the harmony without the activity; by selecting the device it generally works (except today)
I've tried reading the documentation of lirc but it's really too complex for me.

further than the lirc site I can't find any information on troubleshooting.
Is there someone who can give me pointers where I can find more info; what can I do to troubleshoot the issue.

is there some way to see what commands the reciever is recieving? some logfile?

In a console window, if you type: irw
You'll then be able to see what commands are being sent
