i totally agree its extremely stable now and to sync with cvs would mean more users could make the most of this great well thought out feature.

outstanding update as always! the bookmarks window makes browsing so much more efficient, almost can't believe how much easier it made surfing from the xbox. i just updated the svn with a new textures.xpr file, it is repacked with links graphics and should be a slight gui speed improvement in links.

the new features are awesome great work guys. just wanted to let you know that i am running at 720p and there are issues with that resolution. the browser does not fill the whole screen and when you bring up the small now playing window the image over laps the elapsed time. not a big deal, just thought you might like to know. cheers and thanks again for all the work  :kickass:

oh yeah and ysbox your wikipedia script is great! if you have any more you want to drop on us feel free!

ys,
been playing with the latest version... very nice!

i have one question and a few suggestions:

question...
when i try to go to a web page on a port other then 80 it fails. example: http://192.168.1.11:80/

suggestons...
when creating a new url typing in ip addresses are a pain (due to requiring changing to 'symbols' every three number or less) and it always assumes file:// if you do not put in http://

1) when entering a new url default to http unless file:// is specified so we do not need to type it in.

2) there must be a better way to enter ips?

- C-Quel - 2006-01-01

to enter ip's use the default numeric dialog jmarshall created a while back...

i don't see a choice as to what keypad you can use... it just pops up the normal pad.

i tried the 30-12-05 sync and the only problem i'm having is that the browser window is out of place. i have a wide screen tv and when i run at 16x9 resolution the browser window is moved up into the top left corner, partialy cutting off the window, leaving a black bar on the bottem and right side of the screen. i had no problems with this before. everything else in the right place, i've done a screen calibration, it's only the browser window. any ideas?

- HarshReality - 2006-01-06

try tweaking the xml file Wink

- sollie - 2006-01-07

confirmed, same problem

- los93sol - 2006-01-07

just checked out links at 720p and there are indeed quite a few issues, i'll see what i can do.

edit: fixed and will be in the svn in a half hour or so. we were using a special webbrowser.xml for 16x9 and we didn't really need to. the same 4:3 webbrowser.xml scales perfectly fine. note that some of you may still see the small black border around the edges, this is intentional to compensate for overscan since the browser does not currently have any type of calibration system like the videoplayer does. i also made a few changes to the skin, nothing major just made a few labels into fadelabels instead. hopefully this will fix the skin issues several of you were having. Smile

ok i use my keyboard to control everything in xbmc (no mouse) so far ive got all the keys i want mapped for the browser on the keyboard, except the page scroll. is there a way to the arrow keys on my keyboard to scroll the page left, right, up, down? im aware you can browse the links on a page with the arrow keys but i want to scroll the page similar to how the analog stick on the controller does.
