This is the only reason I haven't yet. If they don't mind then I will do it. smuto Wrote:the strings with the id 20300-20313 appears more then onceI will fix this. KingJames Wrote:Anyone would like to volunteerVolunteer for what? - hXr.eXe - 2006-09-28 he basically wants you to compile it for him, if you dont know how to compile it then you have 2 options cus no 1 else will compile it for you here, either wait for it to be included into the cvs so that the compiled version is available at the usual places or wait for a pimped edition with linksboks integration whick is available via torrents but he hasnt been integrating it since january. i suppse the devs wont look to kindly at this post though! so why dont you do the legal thing and obtain the xdk and visual studio legally and learn to compile it yourself! basically what nickman said which you obviously ignored. - Solo0815 - 2006-09-28 Coolgamer30 Wrote:I could upload it there but the devs said they only want people who can compile it themselves to use it. Hopefully it´s in then THX for answering and the devs for XBMC - drakethegreat - 2006-09-28 Ya I just compiled a copy but there is no way in... I have no plans to post a copy. If its not in the official CVS tree then its not meant for average users and only programmers/developers should have access anyways. - KingJames - 2006-09-28 drakethegreat Wrote:Ya I just compiled a copy but there is no way in... That is illegal for anyone to do even if they work at Microsoft. - incognegro - 2006-10-01 Yea so 2.0 is out now......I can finally wake up!.........yea so hows linksboks integration going? - Gamester17 - 2006-10-01 From http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=22305 Gamester17 Wrote:Know that the XBMC CVS feature-freeze has officially now been lifted, meaning our developers are allowed to add new features/functions to the XBMC CVS again. However, Team-XBMC have agreed to take it easy on the new features/functions for the next few upcoming weeks, so that if many valid bug-reports come in about the XBMC 2.0.0 point-release then we may possibly have to release a 2.0.1 point-release before we fully let loose on the XBMC CVS. In any case, we have decided to at the very least keep the freeze on the language strings for another two weeks, so if your language is not available (or up-to-date) please submit your translation now, (you may even end up in the credits if we make a 2.0.1 point-release).Please go nap for a couple of weeks more ...don't you think we all deserve a few weeks rest before implementing new stuff (and new bugs) - jimg - 2006-10-02 I was able to compile without errors with 9/24/06 build. Once i click on the internet button the screen loads to the familiar white linksboks screen and then freezes, no button inputs seem to invoke a response. I created a log file although it doesn't show anything obvious to me. Suggestions would be appreciated.
