I know I've been mentioning this before, but do any of you guys developing this have the ability to test with USB keyboard and mouse?
Keyboard seemed to work last time I tested a build (back in April or something), but the mouse didn't register clicking the buttons.

Well, the mouse buttons works in XBMC, but not in the integrated Linksboks.

2 bugs, password entries not shown in astrix, MCE remote not keymapped correctly

Hi!

The patch for international keyboard layouts and unicode characters has been included into the linux branch by XBMC team!
See: http://xbmc.svn.sourceforge.net/view...revision=10226

Other branches should follow. Nod

For more details about this topic see: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=26796

With over 116k views this thread is the most viewed in development, I think this shows that there is definately an interest.... if theres any chance it could be integrated into an official release I think there may be a good chance of people contributing to the feature Smile

i personally think linksboks integration looks pretty much dead. There was always doubt that it would make it into the official SVN and even the sub branch hasn't had any updates in a while - still only updated again main branch 9782. it's a a shame because it was really starting to come together.

it appears devs are in short supply at the moment - spiff would appear to have left the XBMC scene - a sad day. Please god let's hold onto Elupus and jmarshall, c-quel and other active memebers.

is this dead? Sad

Basically yes, ...that unless a other programmer wants to pick up where Ysbox left of.

It will not ever make the SVN trunk unless a developer is willing to activly maintain it.

Which is a shame, because with all it's connectivity to the internet and what-not a browser is the last logical major add-on to the XBMC feature list. Oh well, what's a non-coder to do. Sad
