svtfmook Wrote:how do you go about updating them individually?

after i ran ember on my entire library, i removed all movies from the xbmc library, then ran the scan. it seems to have grabbed the info from the internet again and not from the info in ember.

On your movies list on the left, double click on a movie to bring up the editing window, hit rescrape button and go from there, all 7 items : poster, tbn, trailer, fanart, extrathumbs, actorthumbs and .info can be obtained at this point. Big Grin

When you say you removed your movies, you need to go into your users folder and delete the thumbnails and videos database file, be aware that the videos database file also contains info about your tv shows. If you have correctly prescraped the above 7 items for each movie with EMM, when you reimport and scan into XBMC, it will not overwrite or add anything. Nod

My apologies if this has been addressed... I did about 10 mins of searching and didn't see anything on the topic. I'm getting an issue when I try to scrape multiple movies it hangs up and goes "Not Responding." The error message I'm seeing is as follows:

Code:
Title: Error
Message: The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open.

If I close out of the EMM and then open it back up I can always do a few more before the error shows up... but it shows up EVERY time I try to do more than 5 or so (Re)Scrapes. I'm slowly making my way through my 1034 movies! Smile

My fix is to go into task manager, kill the app, start over, and try again! Great app other than that LOVE it so much more than other media managers... if I could just get a little more efficient at it! Smile

Windows 7 x64
EMM Version 1.3.0.2

Thanks!!

Hi, I'm using EMM 1.2 and it's working well for the most part. One issue though is when scraping, EMM populates the running time in seconds instead of minutes. How do I force it to use minutes for both the stream details and for <runtime>? Thanks.

Edit->Settings->Movies->Scrapers - Data->Durationformat

I would update your EMM, the latest version is pretty sweet

i noticed a weird bug when using themoviedb.org as scraper,
it doesn't populate the cast.
mean reasen why i prefer themoviedb.org is because i can localize the info of the movie

Standard scraper in EMM does actor cast and thumbs for me fine.

isn't the standard scraper based on imdb ?
and not tvdb ?
and imdb doesn't support localization,
for you not a big deal but i'm not from the US

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0084100/
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1570337/

Titles like above are not found in scrapers Search Result window. Is there some setting i can tune to help or am i using wrong words?
