Yes, I found a couple knocking about online. Sadly some of the "tags" that were listed as available for creating templates didn't work in the previous version. I reported the ones that didn't work (there was a list) but the site is now gone and I can't remember exactly what wasn't functioning (though the video resolution tag springs to mind as one that didn't).

@Bodrick, are you able to figure out what tags are supported from the code?

The obvious ones are things like $MOVIENAME, $YEAR, $POSTER_FILE, etc.

My fave template is an amazing piece of work and is called "Move Homepage v1.30".
Demo: http://miso.be/fancy/index.html

EDIT: Just noticed there appear to be problems with the script selecting the correct cover/fanart *at times*.

Downloadable from: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7856680/Uploads/template%20MovieHomepagev130.zip

The only downside of this template is that it take a *longggggg* time to preview, save, and upload! Wink

Is it possible to scrape TV shows with EMM yet?
I hate not being able to click the Scrape TV Shows button.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I'm having some issues with the experimental version of Ember. When scraping images, it's not giving me the option to download the original, full resolution images. When using Ember 1.3.0.2, I am able download the original, full resolution images. I've attached a couple screenshots as examples.

Ember_1.3.0.3-Experimental (Not able to download originals):

Just click on the show and select (Re)scrape works for me.

@KilgoreTrout: Have you checked the result? (The image in the folder after scraping)
Should be the same I think its just that EMber doesnt load the full images anymore so scraping is faster but the selected image should still be at max resolution.

Or did it just not let you select that image?

Thanks for the response TeKo,

It won't let me select the original image. I can download the medium version, but the original is greyed out and not selectable (It may not be totally clear in the screenshots I posted, but if you look closely, you can see the greyed out original option). This happens with all of my movie files. This only happens when I manually download images by selecting (re)scrape. When I let it automatically download images, it will select the original because I have it set that way in the settings.

I have also checked the image in the folder and it is the same low res one.

Is the experimental version available as and exe for windows ?

I have checked the project page "files" tab ...
http://ember.purplepig.net/projects/embermm/files

I seem to be running round in circles trying to find it !

Thanks.

It's provided inside a 7zip file (.7z). You need to unzip it with 7zip to get the standalone exe Smile

@bodrick

Using 1.3.0.2 here.

I've just noticed that many of my NFO files have a trailer node that has a full path to the local trailer (e.g. M:\movie folder\movie name-trailer.mov). Others I've noticed point to rtmp streams on imdb. My movie collection has been scraped with various editions of Ember over the years and not just 1.3.0.2.

- I have trailer ticked under "Scrapers > Data" (global options).
- I'm using native scrapers for data and images/trailers.
- Trailer is *NOT* ticked under data and images/trailers (modules options).

I guess I have three problems/questions:

1) How to prevent use of internet stream trailers completely but keep local trailer support?

2) How to force the use of the local trailer rather than an internet stream? Currently when I re-scrape a movie the trailer field is populated with an imdb rtmp stream, rather than a path to the local trailer. It seems the global setting (trailer ticked) overrides the module setting (trailer unticked) rather than the module setting taking presedence lower down.

3) How to enable use of local trailers, but with a relative path (e.g. movie name-trailer.mov and not M:\...... ; what happens if the NAS box is mapped with a different drive letter elsewhere?. Or is this not possible as XBMC will read the NFO and require a full trailer path only?

Sorry for so many questions. Where is your Paypal donation link? Wink
