gman3042, you have to be clear first of all in your mind & then ask a clear question. from what you have written you are not clear in your mind what you want to ask . From what I could make of it all your media could be scraped by ember whether automatically or manually tvdb/imdb are just the scraping sources , these DO work hand in hand. Media could be scraped by a variety of methods & software's, depending on what you use it with and what your needs are.

Relly good request! Or why not just let EMM open the RAR files and read the file in it!

/ Anton

Maybe because EMM is using an external library: http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/en for that which is not capable for reading RARs?

Don't you realize if you annoy too many people, then it's something with you?

You did miss the first part right? Every rar orginal release if you got it from the "source" yeh ftps and not some crappy p2p shit its always contain "movie/sample/sample.avi" its just try to check that file and get videoinfo from that canĀ“t be hard

D:\Filmer\Serier\En.Fyra.For.Tre\S01\En.Fyra.For.Tre.1x02.Fyra.Med.Mamma.SWEDiSH.DVDRip.XviD-TNS\Sample\efft.1x02.sample-tns.avi

@ bosariano get this from Olympia : http://xbmchuscraper.googlecode.com/file...rEMMV2.zip
Then Unzip to the scraper Module and repopulate scrapers & choose HD trailer scraper in the xml scraper section.
hope this helps
Thanks to Olympia ( who posted this earlier in the thread ) , Dan & Bodrick .

Thanks shaktoo and Olympia! I will try this right away.

Can someone please address some of the issues/features I asked about in this post: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=116941&pid=1093965#pid1093965

I want to make EmberMM my full time scraper, but these are keeping me from making the full move.

RE: New Home for Ember Media Manager (Official Thread) - olympia - 2012-05-04

So you still didn't find the auto-renamer (pretty powerful btw) in the past 24 hours? If you love the interface, you should "walk around it"... Also, if you are that much frustrated keep using MCM.

Hehe, DanCooper just thanked User321 and shaktoo to explain you in his behalf that what you are asking will never happen, read between the lines Wink

RE: New Home for Ember Media Manager (Official Thread) - bsoriano - 2012-05-04

Olympia, DanCooper,

Unfortunately, I have not been able to configure correctly the HD-trailers.net scraper. Every time I enable this scraper, with or without having the native scraper enabled, EMM does not scrape anything (I use the re-scrape movie option to test). What should be the correct combination of data and images & trailers scrapers and settings to get this to work? I am sorry if I am too thick to understand today.

Also, I have been using the olympia imdb 1.5 scraper because it is the only way to get ONLY hig-res posters and fanarts. Is there another way to do this with the native scraper?

Thank you for your help.

Regards,

Bart

The auto-renamer is not working like other metadata scrapers. When I try to rename a folder it hangs for 3 minutes and does nothing. Ideally it would be nice to have an option that does the following:

1st auto identifies new movies added, which are missing metadata. You can then select and choose "scrape metadata" (already available)
2nd first thing it does is give you the option to clean the folders (sample clips, useless nfo files, sample folder, etc) or does it automatically
3rd it collects the metadata and renames the folders automatically (only partially available, I'm not sure if auto-rename is available)

I'm not dissing your software at all. I was simply asking if these features were thought of or were in future plans. I thought software developers liked hearing feedback to improve their product. I love the interface, and it's much less prone to crashing than other metadata scrapers, I was just pointing out a few things that could make it better. Sorry if it came across the wrong way.

Apologies for jumping on you in this case.

However I can't see that how the 'Bulk Renamer' can be missed from the 'Tools Menu' or the 'Renamer Module' in Settings/Modules.

Ok will examine that further when I get home. Any word on possibly adding a "cleaning" option to EMM?

hmmm, your trailer settings are OK. HD-trailer find only trailer if the original movietitle is used (english). Could this be the problem?

With the native scraper you get always the high resolution posters when themoviedb is activated.

Quote:Ember don't support scraping by airdates. You'd have the series with season and episode label (Link). There are programs that do this automatically.
I dont understand why XBMC can do it and ember can't. What program should I use?
