Can you just for testing: uncheck DTS and AC3 within the sound settings and set your Soundcard to analog?

What Audio Output are you using? (Please attach: sudo aplay -L)
What components are attached? TV, AVR, Analog Audio?

The sound is on hdmi.
I uncheck DTS and AC3 within the sound settings and set Soundcard to analog, but nothing has changed (sound iptv does not appear).
sudo aplay -L

RE: Howto Install XBMC PVR Xvba for AMD/ATI Radeon and Fusion GPUs - wsnipex - 2012-06-09

this might be the problem:
Muxing mode : Header stripping

This means that header compression is used.

could you try to remux the file with mkvmerge? (apt-get install mkvtoolnix)

Code:
mkvmerge -o remuxedFile.mkv --compression -1:none originalFile.mkv

Edit: nope lol

Format settings, ReFrames : 6 frames

-> out of spec

@Salex: so you have sound in movies, but not while streaming?

can you post a debug log?

RE: Howto Install XBMC PVR Xvba for AMD/ATI Radeon and Fusion GPUs - BenvanDamme - 2012-06-09

Does anyone know how i could decrease the h264 level with ffmpeg for example ?

you'll need to reencode, e.g. with handbrake

edit: its not the h264 level, that is problematic, but the too high Reframe count. L4.1@high allows 4 Reframes @ 1080p

I can say reencode a 10gb mkv takes decades :-D

yeah, I wouldn't do that on a fusion system Wink

for everyone interested in Audio Engine: there is a new package available in the testing ppa that should work ok. Testing and feedback much appreciated.

Yes it is ..
discovered something yesterday ..
iptv provider distributes as mpeg2 and mpeg4, so here .. in mpeg2 sound is!
mpeg4 - no sound! (no codec?): (
Since my internet speed 3.5 Mbit / s, then I need a mpeg4.
Help!

according to the log there doesn't seem to be any audio in those streams and they generally seem corrupt.
Tvheadend regularly errors out.

Did you try playing those streams with another player?

Additionally: Is your TV signal unbelievable bad?
