A Llano build of XBMC + Storage server - Ashaneil - 2011-12-24

Hi Guys,
My dad would me to build him an XBMC server but he would prefer to have all the media stored locally rather than stream it of an unRAID server (50+ year old house - not wired).

So this is what I have come up with so far based on various posts:

Case: COOLER MASTER HAF 912 RC-912-KKN1 Black SECC/ ABS Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case ($50 at NewEgg)
PSU: CORSAIR Builder Series CX430 V2 (CMPSU-430CXV2) 430W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply ($45 = NewEgg)
Mobo: ECS A75F-M2 FM1 AMD A75 (Hudson D3) HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard ($73 - NewEgg) OR ASRock A75M FM1 AMD A75 (Hudson D3) HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS ($75 - NewEgg)
CPU: AMD A6-3500 Llano 2.1GHz (2.4GHz Max Turbo) Socket FM1 65W Triple-Core Desktop APU with DirectX 11 Graphic AMD Radeon HD 6530D AD3500OJGXBOX ($80 at NewEgg)
CPU Heatsink: COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO RR-212E-20PK-R1 Continuous Direct Contact 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler Compatible with latest Intel 1366/1155 and AMD FM1/AM3+ ($35 @ NewEgg)
SSD: Patriot Torqx 2 PT232GS25SSDR 2.5" 32GB SATA II Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) - ($69 - NewEgg)
RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B -- still trying to find out if this memory will work with ECS board
Hard Drive: Western Digital AV-GP WD20EURS 2TB 64MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive --> already have 1 sitting around. Plan is add additional 3 Tb hard drives as prices come down again. With ECS mobo having 6 SATA ports, that will allow me to add 4 (12 TB) drives in the future.

That brings the grand total to $352 + S&H.

Question time:
1. As far as Motherboards are concerned, any preferences?
2. This machine is going next to the TV (long rectangular room so doubt noise is going to an issue). Do I need CoolerMaster 212 Evo heat sink or can i get away with stock cooler?
3. Is the power supply powerful enough? I used the power supply post from unRAID forums for sizing info.
4. Anything else I have left out?

As far as OS is concerned, it will be running Windows 7 Ultimate x64.
