RE: Yatse - Full featured XBMC/Kodi Remote (Widgets, Streaming, Offline media, ...) - McButton - 2014-11-23 I'm using openelec on a chromebox. I read the faq. Did my best. Nothing is working still. Maybe Im a dummy =) RE: Yatse - Full featured XBMC/Kodi Remote (Widgets, Streaming, Offline media, ...) - Tolriq - 2014-11-23 Quote:On rPi your media in /var/media (or /media depending on your distribution) are automatically scrapped but not added as source by default. To avoid a slow full rescrape you can simply add a source to /var/media (or /media) without any content type just to allow remote access. I guess if I change rPi by chromebox it will become more clear ? RE: Yatse - Full featured XBMC/Kodi Remote (Widgets, Streaming, Offline media, ...) - McButton - 2014-11-23 ......yep. I tried the rpi..added the var/media, works perfect! Thanks buddy! All you had to do was keep beating me up with the same tutorial. I finally learned how to read. =/ great work! RE: Yatse - Full featured XBMC/Kodi Remote (Widgets, Streaming, Offline media, ...) - McButton - 2014-11-23 Maybe just mark it as other. Rpi, openelec, chromebox, etc. I ignored it fully... RE: Yatse - Full featured XBMC/Kodi Remote (Widgets, Streaming, Offline media, ...) - Walhalla - 2014-11-24 hmm, I just played a little bit with the voice commands of Yatse on my watch. Is it possible that there is no way to play all unseen episodes of a show with one command? I have to say "play the next episode of Californication" every time the episode has finished? I have not found anything in the wiki about this subject. RE: Yatse - Full featured XBMC/Kodi Remote (Widgets, Streaming, Offline media, ...) - Tolriq - 2014-11-25 Well yes there no such command for the moment as it's far from a common usage RE: Yatse - Full featured XBMC/Kodi Remote (Widgets, Streaming, Offline media, ...) - Tolriq - 2014-11-25 Looking for an rPI replacement or new media center, Yatse have some news for you : http://yatse.leetzone.org/redmine/news/113 RE: Yatse - Full featured XBMC/Kodi Remote (Widgets, Streaming, Offline media, ...) - Walhalla - 2014-11-25 (2014-11-25, 10:54)Tolriq Wrote: Well yes there no such command for the moment as it's far from a common usage WHAAAAAAAAAT, no common usage !? Who wants to say the command multiple times per evening. Allmost all people are lazy. I am a big fan of the "play from here" function in the app. RE: Yatse - Full featured XBMC/Kodi Remote (Widgets, Streaming, Offline media, ...) - Tolriq - 2014-11-28 Yatse 5.0.0 beta has started https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/106607702940190202508 to join and do not forget to read the first pinned post. I have not found anything in the wiki about this subject. You could just turn the Kodi setting on that will autoplay the next video. Or setup a queue so it would do it as well RE: Yatse - Full featured XBMC/Kodi Remote (Widgets, Streaming, Offline media, ...) - Mspec - 2014-11-29 Long time user, Never have much to say and never had a problem at all. Love the new look that comes with 5.0 , looks very professional and polished. RE: Yatse - Full featured XBMC/Kodi Remote (Widgets, Streaming, Offline media, ...) - warlion - 2014-12-01 I agree tolriq the new update look really nice congrats RE: Yatse - Full featured XBMC/Kodi Remote (Widgets, Streaming, Offline media, ...) - Tolriq - 2014-12-04 Thanks Beta 2 is planned soon but there's still some missing translations. So if any user have some time please head to http://www.getlocalization.com/Yatse/ and contribute. RE: Yatse - Full featured XBMC/Kodi Remote (Widgets, Streaming, Offline media, ...) - mcdeviant - 2014-12-04 *************FIXED!************* I found the fix in the forums, and decided to submit the post anyway so that others can see what fixed it for me. It's a dumb one- Windows firewall is blocking the incoming connection to Kodi by default, so go to firewall, allow a program through, select Kodi, click Change settings, tick Kodi, save. *********************************** Hi Tolriq, I've been using Yatse for a while now, and I LOVE it. I tell everyone about my setup and am looking forwards to showing it off at a party in a week, using my Android to control the music. However, I installed Kodi last night (Windows), and kept the remote access settings the same, but Yatse lost the link. I have configured in Services - Settings: Webserver: * Allow control of Kodi via HTTP - ON * Port - 8080 * Username and password - None Remote Control: * Allow programs on other systems to control Kodi - ON Zeroconf: * Announce these services to other systems via Zeroconf - ON The result is that I can detect the Host machine, name, IP and port, but when trying to connect, I get Testing JSON RPC This fails with a red dot after a few seconds, then I get a red banner at the bottom explaining: Unable to connect Check the entered values, if the host is running, and your firewall. Press Help menu for details and configuring your host. Troubleshooting completed: * Configured a new port number * Forwarded the port in my router * Changed IP address * Tested connection via Unified remote - fails only for Kodi * Restart phone * Reinstall Yatse * Restart PC *************FIXED!************* I found the fix in the forums, and decided to submit the post anyway so that others can see what fixed it for me.
