AVI files playing too fast (eden) - Thomas VDB - 2012-01-04 Hi, I am using the latest daily build from openelec eden. Everything seems okay, except for the AVI files that I recorded with my Nikon D5000 HD camera. They are playing too fast (video + audio). Playback is as if I pressed FFW x2. Any ideas? RE: AVI files playing too fast (eden) - Tuxwork - 2012-03-31 Hi, i have same problem here, some mp4 and avi video playing too fast. like mp4 video from my phone "samsung galaxy S" and some video from youtube. here media info from "galaxy S" Code: mediainfo video-2011-09-12-17-18-20.mp4 tested with vlc and mplayer and work fine. any solution ? Thanks. Debian squeeze gcc-4.4 glibc 2.11.3-3 kernel 3.1.0-vs2.3.1-rc2 xbmc eden stable (compiled from source) RE: AVI files playing too fast (eden) - bobo1on1 - 2012-04-01 That's usually because the audio samplerate is not supported by the soundcard, XBMC doesn't resample it and neither does alsa for some reason. You probably need to set the default audio device in XBMC to plug:default. Is it in the XBMC GUI or is that an advanced settings xml that needs to be made? Here is what I experience....not meaning to hijack....just meant as supplement info. In RTMPgui and in NAVI-X if I go to the CBS Tampa 12 live stream video and audio playback is fast. Other streams don't seem to have this problem such as the HGTV stream, so I am not sure if it is my hardware or the stream issue. RE: AVI files playing too fast (eden) - gnif - 2012-05-10 This is fixed in the latest builds as the new AudioEngine performs the re-sampling for you. Hi gnif, I seem to be experiencing this on my passthrough output with the latest nightly's. I'm playing MKV's with both DD and DTS and im getting fast playback with no audio consistant with this. My standard def stuff with regular stero audio plays fine. Both are outputting via pulseaudio ( i compiled it enabled for this exact reason), any ideas? I realise its slightly off topic but its related.... |
