There is no French stream when watching live Montreal game using Android/iOS GameCenter app.

Another feature you might try to add is the Highlight game feature beside the condensed game as I see it has in the GameCenter app.

If the french streams don't exist in the official Gamecenter apps, then it may not be possible to include them in the add-on.

so, checked my debug. I don't know a whole lot but noticed error with rtmp stream so, I disabled RTMP stream setting in add-on and now
looks like condensed , archive..etc.. work now

Hey All

In the past day or so I have been getting the following login error when I launch the add-on

"Check your login credentials"

I have tried resetting the username and password in the Setttings page, and I have confirmed that the current login info works directly in NHL Live website and have even reset the password.

I have tried un-installing the add-on, removing the repo and updating the the latest XBMC 12.3. No luck.

Below is a pastebin of the logs. Any help would be appreciated.

Figure this out myself. Looks like NHL Live lets your login with no issue, but does not let you know that your account has expired due to non-payment or whatever. Actually went to watch a game off my laptop and found the issue. Just a heads up to all if this ever happens. Not an add-on or XBMC issue, just the badly designed NHL Live website.

Agreed. I had the same issue. Had to change credit cards with my bank and forgot to tell NHL.com. They didn't send any email warning me or anything and suddenly log on didn't work

I have a question for anyone with ability to assist, or perhaps for people who are having similar issues.

I have two computers which have XBMC and the NHL Gamecenter Addon on them. One is my laptop running Windows Vista, the other is a PC hooked up to my TV acting as my primary PVR, running Debian Stable. Both have Frodo 12.2 on them. Both have Nvidia cards with proprietary drivers.

I can watch NHL Gamecenter games on my Linux box but suffer a problem whereby at random intervals it consistently will go to a buffering dialog and then exit to the game selector screen. I coincidentally have the same problem with the NFL GamePass Live on my Linux box (except it pauses and actually buffers and then returns to game play (still very annoying because this happens often)).

I think I have ruled out network issues as Monday morning/Saturday Night, wired/wireless have all the same results.

However, I tried playing a game on the Windows Vista machine (both NHL and NFL) and it played back smooth as can be. No issues.

So I suspect that Debian Stable has older versions of some key libraries/underlying programs?

This app has been working well up to the past few days. I've been using the 4500 stream, now only the 1600 stream works without buffering which is fine but just wondering why. My internet has been fine so that cant be it.

Anyone having this issue needs to get the newest version of httplib2 and drop it in the addons/plugin.video.nhl-gamecenter directory. httplib2 can be found here: link

Download and unzip that file and place the httplib2 folder in the addons/plugin.video.nhl-gamecenter directory. Restart XBMC and you should be good to go!

NOTE: you can also place the httplib2 folder in the addons/script.module.httplib2/lib/ directory and replace the existing library. This may have side effects with other plugins that use this library so use at your own risk

Thanks for that. I was looking for an updated version of the httplib.pyo file, but I guess I needed a different set of files. BTW, I fixed the problem without your update. I was using a DNS service (adfreetime.com) which was preventing the GCL addon from working. When I changed my DNS server setting to point to the Google DNS servers, the GCL addon started to work. After I loaded an archived game, I exited out and plugged the DNS servers for adfreetime back in and restarted. The GCL addon kept working. It seems like the DNS service was preventing the GCL addon from pulling something down from the GCL website.

click on it
takes about 20-30 secs to pull up away or home prompt
click on either and says working at the bottom and stops

why do they have to keep changing it.......last time I pay for gamecenter. screw them !!

I'm also now having a problem with live games, first noticed today. The addon is downloading home.m3u8 and away.m3u8 files that have a size of 0. Being empty, of course these files fail to play.
