add playlist under movie menu - TRaSH - 2012-01-08
beeing that XBMC doesn't have a decent way to split kids movies from the main movies without workarrounds and breaking other add-ons like recently added.
i would like to now if it's possible to add a playlist under the movies section of the main menu,
so that i can add there "Cartoons",

If you want to split them you could create a new profile kids, choose a different skin, allow content, create a smartplaylist for kids movies, put that playlist on home and hide the movies button. That way your kids can only browse to their allowed content.
