What I have noticed as well is that the longer you leave it running, the worse it gets out of sync. Every 10 minutes or so you will begin to notice this. I think I'm gonna try to get one on eBay to test it out. I'm guessing you have no issues streaming to another computer (xbmc/web browser)? RE: [dev] CetonTV - Watch TV on XBMC - Acostanavy - 2012-06-26 03:54 I have not really tried anything but direct streaming while connected to the wifi at home from the laptop bit i cam tell you that work flawlessly. My main goal is the raspberry pi to stream cable without any issues. If you browse eBay and watch a lot of the pi's you can snag a deal. If you want i can sell u mine for retail cost ($35) just so u can begin testing these. I know there is potential in them. You can PM me if interested and would dedicate time to pi development. EDIT: plex and cetontv clients would be awesome on raspberry pi! I think I'm gonna try to get both of them working @gman3042: I'll relook into the hdhomerun code later. I dont have any issues with my ceton. RE: [dev] CetonTV - Watch TV on XBMC - mcheng89 - 2012-06-28 00:22 got my raspberry pi... dont know if i'll start playing with it until the weekend though RE: [dev] CetonTV - Watch TV on XBMC - Acostanavy - 2012-06-28 14:30 (2012-06-28 00:22)mcheng89 Wrote: got my raspberry pi... dont know if i'll start playing with it until the weekend though Good for you! Hope you make as much progress as you have done so far. I never knew there was another "Complete Media Solution" out there called Plex. Looks pretty nice. RE: [dev] CetonTV - Watch TV on XBMC - mcheng89 - 2012-07-01 15:32 Ok, so I havent made any changes, but VLC 2.0.2 is out... RE: [dev] CetonTV - Watch TV on XBMC - Acostanavy - 2012-07-01 15:55 Hmm. I wonder if i would experience better results by having the A/V receiver doing the audio decoding instead of the pi RE: [dev] CetonTV - Watch TV on XBMC - mcheng89 - 2012-07-02 04:34 uploading a new version for the new VLC version ![]() 2.2.0: http://www.mediafire.com/?3z3czylq97zczq9 @gman3042: will post another build later today... or tomorrow RE: [dev] CetonTV - Watch TV on XBMC - mcheng89 - 2012-07-03 00:34 Raspberry pi running without any issues! Using openelec and some settings I got off here: http://mrpfister.com/journal/setting-up-openelec-on-the-raspberry-pi/ Going to leave it on for about an hour to make sure there isnt any sync issues |
