several tv stations from romania never worked (disconnected after 5 secs): antena 3 (ro), realitatea or any other tv station streamed by mediadirect.ro
As discussed here, there is a workaround, i will be more than happy to see this fixed. cheers!

I don't know what you already have in the file! You can get back to the original by re-editing out the hash sign, if it doesn't work/

As I said, I don't know if it works for non hhtp:// links.

Don't forget to save the file!

so from where i have to bring that address
i mean i have to open the xml file by Internet Explorer or fire fox ...
because thats what i did and i get the address from it Confused

becous i have already rtmpgui pro i save the last channel list as xml file to D driver
then i open it by firefox so i get the address : file:///D:/xml/list.xml
i add : base =
then its came like this :
BASE = 'file:///D:/xml/list.xml'

Sorry ... no idea what you are describing.

I would assume that it's :

BASE='D:\xml\list.xml' or 'D:/xml/list.xml'

Who knows.

when i try to install this it says thats it does not have the correct structure. Am i doing this wrong. im using winscp to add it onto the apple tv and then installing it from the zip file on the apple tv

First of all: Dude (or Dudette), AWESOME.

I updated the script, it sorts the streams by language, adds <logourl> for channel logos, accepts local xml files with file:// as well as more than one source file and most importantly
fixes a serious bug where the parameters from <advanced> weren't passed, which lead to some streams not playing.

Installation: Replace the default.py in the plugin.video.rtmpGUI directory with this one.
If you want to watch European streams, you might want to update your libRTMP as well.

if you get the "Script failed" error with the original script, you need to do three things:
1) Install the update from above
2) Install http://code.google.com/p/anarchintosh-projects/downloads/detail?name=script.module.elementtree-1.2.7.zip&can=2&q=
3) Add

between <requires> and </requires> in plugin.video.rtmpGUI/addon.xml.
BTW, if the streams buffer, close some programs and restart XBMC. Or install more RAM.
