[windows] Watch live TV with DVB card - Stem - 2012-01-17
Hello,
Is DVB supported by XBMC, now or in the future ? I didn't saw anything about it in the wiki, and none of the topics of the forums can answer to my question (if i'm wrong, please say me where the topics are).

XBMC doesn't support any tuner cards directly other than the HDHomerun. Tuner support is via a PVR backend like MythTV, TVHeadend, Media Portal etc and the XBMC PVR frontend for viewing/control. Hardware support is totally dependent on what the backend PVR software supports.

Thank you. Do someone know an easy method to install the PVR frontend and backend ? MythTV and TVheadend work only on linux, Media portal is not installable (cause: access denied to mysql) and PVR frontend need a f***ing complicated configuration with server, databases and so.
