I was trying to convert this stream. Rtmpsrv produces the result above. I've tried converting it without any luck.

Any suggestions would be great.

Hi vidyashankara

you can use any software that captures the links and get the rtmp out of it, and then use that info to build your XML element for the channel.

For example,

i used URL Helper to get the rtmp link plus other info, as below
rtmp://217.23.6.106/media<playpath>khantv <swfUrl>http://player.embedsports.com/player/player-licensed.swf <pageUrl>http://player.embedsports.com/player.php?id=live&vw=600&vh=430

and then make an xml element in this format:
<item>
<title>Neo Cricket</title>
<link>rtmp://217.23.6.106/media playpath=khantv swfUrl=http://player.embedsports.com/player/player-licensed.swf pageUrl=http://player.embedsports.com/player.php?id=live</link>
<thumbnail>http://www.lyngsat-logo.com/hires/nn/neo_cricket_america.png</thumbnail>
</item>

But don't call me sir, sounds kind of odd. Wink

I use URLsnooper to get the url's.
Usually, when you have "redirect" in it, it's not the actual stream url, but only the redirect-link.

Wired_ is there a way to do that with a mac? a similar program like URLsnooper for mac? tried safari but takes a long time to load streams and ussually most of the info is missing.....thanks

There's wireshark, which I also use.
