Thanks divingmule...when I tried the below, the jtv link works through LiveStreams but not the youtube one

As divingmule mentioned, if the jtv channels url is
http://www.justin.tv/telemicrocanal5

then the link would be
<link>plugin://plugin.video.jtv.archives/?mode=2&amp;play=True&amp;name=telemicrocanal5</link>

Basically its just telling xbmc to open the justin.tv plugin and load the channel with the name "telemicrocanal5"
(So you need to make sure you have the justintv plugin installed before you try this out)

Not possible because it plays in VLC player

Btw I was able to run veetle channels through Livestreams using the veetle plugin. I figured it out but it requires a line of code change in the veetle plugin. So I have requested the author to review and make my change:

Once that is done we will be able to add veetle channels! (they seem to have a bunch of interesting channels). Please +1 my request at the above link so the author sees it would be a popular feature.

Once the code change is made, we will be able to add veetle channels using the below syntax
