Is anyone actively working on a long term solution for this other then hot fixes? Seems pretty useless as an addon if we currently have to resort to changing lines in code every day to deal with this constant changing?
The only way I see this working long term is to go the path of the Netflix addon and make it open a chrome window

I personally don't like any solution that involves launching a browser.. I don't use any of those solutions here. That's why I currently don't subscribe to Netflix for example and it's a reason why I have subscribed to Hulu Plus rather than Netflix... and yes... no commercials.
At the moment I'm relying upon my fallback of locally cached videos (for example my own bdrips) on my network attached storage and other video services like Icefilms in the meantime. Native Hulu support is a handy convenient thing but I can learn to live without it if it can't ever be fixed so that it's not so fragile without resorting to launching a separate browser.

speaking of keeping up I cant follow if anyone is working at this time and if so which of the changes are working. lost of later posts refer to the "new" file which I tried to figure out but so far no luck with original xbox and hulu-beta. here's where I'm at. perhaps someone can note what I'm missing or whats working for them.

Does anyone know how to force the 3200k stream selection (for huluplus) in a chrome window? It doesn't seem that hulu does any bandwidth testing to select 1500k, 2000k, 2500k, or 3200k, but rather only sends the 1500k stream if HD is selected. It makes me wonder why the playlist/rtmp info for the other streams is even there in the browser windows.
