Strange try changing some options.my hulu wasnt working even before installing the auto updater. - mplacido9 - 2012-02-08 06:02 Thanks BlueCop for the great plugin! I've been using your plugin for some time and only had one issue which I solved by searching the forum (go figure). I saw people posting the same issue over on your git in the bug tracker. I posted the solution in the bug tracker (issue 106, I think), but it seems some people just refuse to read. I can only hope that you'll let some of us stay in the loop, and help when we can. I don't think people say thanks enough, so... Thanks again BlueCop. Your work and time is much appreciated. Solved - luvblunts - 2012-02-08 20:22 Sorry guys....the problem was not the hulu plug in. I am using the DNS service unblock us and if u want to use it with the apple tv it has to be configured on at least one computer in the network. i changed the dns settings on my mac and then the hulu plug in didn't work anymore. now its running fine. thx for the help anyways i hope the hulu plug in will survive forever ;-) [MAC] Hulu Plugin Issue - sprale - 2012-02-09 06:34 Thanks for the plugin, but I wouldn't be here if I didn't have an issue This is what I get on some videos I attempt to play through the Hulu plugin, but most videos simply do not load and report no error at all.![]() I'm running XBMC 10.1 on a new Mac Mini running 10.7.3. This is the first add-on I've loaded (through the UI and using the ZIP file), but followed the directions as best I can. Please point out if I have made a mistake. Everything else I have loaded through the app works fine, as well as the standard add-ons. Here is the XBMC log (I assume others are posting the XBMC log itself), hopefully it helps. I'm about to run a permissions repair and reboot, and will report back if I can resolve it myself. - puppinoo2 - 2012-02-09 10:58 Hi, I just started using this plugin and it's definitely one of the best around for XBMC. So I wanted to thank BlueCop for it. I watch stuff with subtitles and so far my only issue is embedded subtitles sync which is often not perfect... (not much ...just 0.5 / 1 sec). Is there a way to fix this permanently or offset them as with XBMC subtitles plugin on the fly? I could use XBMC plugin but I guess the advantage of embedded ones that is that they remain synchronized even in presence of commercials. Thanks a lot. Pino. P.s.: I read that the pause/fastforward issue with video skipping past of a few secs is not resolvible with rmtp lib so I didnt mentioned it... but I have that too. It's bit annoying cause I often have to go back to recover some missed subtitle but it's ok
- locomot1f - 2012-02-09 17:10 @sprale First, I would run XBMC Eden Beta 2. Not sure why you chose 10.1 ![]() here's the link... in case you missed it:http://mirrors.xbmc.org/releases/osx/ Second, I'm not sure how things work with XBMC and Mac Lion. I see this error a couple of times in your Log: Code: Type mismatch: client sent 6, server answered 9Lastly, you might want to try a different CDN under the configure settings. - thenovelty - 2012-02-09 18:27 locomot1f Wrote:@sprale Updating to Eden beta 2 will update the librtmp on Lion. - JimboJumbo - 2012-02-10 12:35 Hi getting a error on my HULU on apple TV 2, build as follows: 23:03:49 T:111849472 NOTICE: Starting XBMC, Platform: Darwin iOS (11.0.0 AppleTV2,1, Version 4.3 (Build 8F305)). Built on Dec 24 2011 (Git:20111222-22ad8e4) And the latest hulu plugin. error I am getting is: http://pastebin.com/H9XNScRc Works on my windows PC and if I go directly to a subscription seems to work. Any ideas? - locomot1f - 2012-02-10 18:45 @ JimboJumbo, it appears that you are not getting logged in. there should be a pop-up telling you if you are getting logged in. somewhere in the forum there is a post on resetting the login settings. You might try deleting the token.xml file - pro510 - 2012-02-11 01:59 Great plug-in - thanks. One issue I have found is that if you have the XBMC option set to pause playback on display change, this seems to screw up the first few seconds of the hulu video. In some cases the video attempts to play for a few seconds then seems to give up and return you back to the menu. |
