Is this happening to anyone else? I select the episode of the show and it gives me a list of different resolutions to pick from. This just started happening yesterday. I made sure I didn't have "Select" under "Resolution" in the streaming settings.

Try reselecting default resolution in settings for the add-on.

Hi Im running XBMC on OS X 10.8.4 Im having trouble with the Hulu addon....the ads play but the main video does not. I have disabled ads now but rather than the main video I get a movie trailer play twice then I get "can't find next item to play".....I have changed the cdn setting, disabled ads, I have hulu plus login details input and hulu plus and login enabled.....any help would be great....heres my log (edited to the best of my knowledge)

I made a few modifications to this addon:
-fixed the path resolving so smb paths are now supported for exporting to your library
-changed the way "clean library directory" works so it now removes everything inside the folders instead of the folders themselves
-made it add a <runtime> tag to episode nfo files for pseudotv support.
the modified file is here, https://www.dropbox.com/s/q5oht12flpdi529/xbmclibrary.py just replace the one located in addons/plugin.video.hulu/resources/lib with it.

yes all ads set to zero now, now I dont get any ads at all but no video is playing....I have read many posts about this issue and have tried everything and can't figure out why it wont play....very frustrating.

Try those settings, ive had a flawless viewing experience with them.

I also ran into this issue. I have a ton of subscriptions (196 right now) and not all of them show up under the addon (only 128). So i went to the website to confirm the shows were in my favorites, and they are. So then i checked how the addon gets the list of your subscriptions. In your log you should see the following lines when you open the subscriptions folder in the addon (with xxxxxx replaced by your id of course):

If you go to that url in your browser youre met with a lengthy xml file, which for me i had to copy and paste in order to search it, but at the bottom you should see <count>###</count> which is the total number of shows its listing. For me that number is 128, the same as the number of shows the addon fetches. So it seems to be an issue with the url the addon is using or possibly something on Hulu's end.

I'm not really sure how, but I've got Hulu to work. I've been researching this for 4 days. Awesome thread, and thanks for posting all of this information it was very helpful. Now, I need to get Netflix to work form XBMC rather than using WMC.

Set it up under the proxy settings in the streaming tab of the addon settings

Works with tunlr.net just set your dns to their settings and it should work, I don't know if anyone is working on direct integration with tunlr for this addon.

I thought those settings were only for proxy, I'll try to enter my VPN info & logins there then, thank you!
