Hey harish, I finally got around to trying those channels from XBMC on my ipad, and all 3 work fine, so I would think they should work on ATV as well (don't have one so cant check myself)
I am running pakee version 1.0.18
xbmc for iOS version: 11.0-0
Are others able to successfully stream the above channels on ATV? (under Live channels->desi->other)

on moment yes it was main change the url to launch youtube plugin and on playlisturl this same!

i have add my xbox friendly mechanize (normal mechanize will not work on xbmc4xbox) and have killing you url timout value
(i have with orignal not response)!
i have tested live tv channels what i tested works!
i have tested musik what i tested will works!
what will not work i look on xbmc.log and make this work!
i have a little bit to test!
it is a nice addon !
when i have adapted jtv.archive i come back and give a status!

Thanks Pakee for a superb plugin! Is it possible for you to add the following channel: http://www.yupptv.com/streams/jeeyar.aspx (it is in Telugu language). Also some channels don't broadcast clearly, there are digital drops- is it the feed?

The error was at my end. I was running a older version of your plugin, after updating to 1.0.18, all the three kannada channels are working great. i posted regarding the suvarna tv channel with freedocast plugin on t0mm0's thread, but it doesnt look like he is active any more, no posts for past few months from him. Is there any other way to get this working on your plugin itself, thats the last thing i need to make my atv setup complete.
I didnt know i could run xbmc on my ipad, will jailbreak it and give it a go tonight,thanks for that.You are doing a great job.

Hi, Thank you for the wonderful plugin. I was able to watch live tv, but from yesterday I am getting "request timeout" error. Even clicking on pakee addon. Please help!!!

on default.py with a editor ( on linux gedit on windows editor++)
delete line 457 and 458!
and edit line 480 from:
file = urllib2.urlopen(url, timeout=3600)
to: file = urllib2.urlopen(url)!
I think that's help!

naseem, I think that was a temporary issue. I think its working fine now
jeanwilly, actually 457/458 are part of getItemsFromUrlBS() method which is not used any more. I am not using BS parser anymore but didn't get a chance to pull the code out yet
for line 480, removing the timeout will reduce it, and will probably result in more timeouts seen! (I added this in because the requests to pull photos off facebook take longer than usual and urlopen was timing out)

No so far they don't. If you know a plugin that can play TVUstreams maybe we can call it from the xml file
Btw I fixed the freedocast plugin, but seems like their suvarnatv link is not working any more!

The english streams are coming from the xml that divingmule is maintaining (I'm just pointing to his file). So you probably request him to look into it on this thread:

fixed PTV Sports, Set max, B4U movies, CNBC, Sony Sab, star gold, Zee, Zee aflam
added desi channels from freedocast under other: shan tv kolkata, Kashish News, High TV entertainment, Maurya Tv, captainmedia123
didnt have time to figure out which languages to add them to, so just put them under other for now...
let me know where to put them and if you find other desi channels on freedocast
