[AppleTV2]unable to remove divingmule's repo - keeson - 2012-02-29 Hey guys, I have been trying out different repos/add-ons And it is my habit that I will remove any of the repo/add-on that I do not use However, divingmule's repo is unable to remove from the unit Since it is only has the Program and Video add-ons but not the add-on repo where you completely remove it from the unit please help! Thanks! - jmarshall - 2012-02-29 Context menu on the repo should allow it to be removed. - keeson - 2012-02-29 it does not show it in the repo which is not allowing me to remove it any clue of where i can remove the local file in the apple tv? - jmarshall - 2012-02-29 You can see the repo as you can click on it. Instead of clicking on it, use the context menu on it. - keeson - 2012-02-29 alright may i ask how exactly do i do this i m really lost and kinda frustrated/piss right now over it - jmarshall - 2012-02-29 1. Click on Settings->Add-ons. 2. Click on Get Add-ons. 3. Context menu on the repo you want to remove. 4. Add-on information. 5. Uninstall. - keeson - 2012-02-29 ya i know that is the way to remove the add-ons but under divingmule, they only have video add on and program add on but no add on repo folder where u can uninstall it that is the problem i m having right now - jmarshall - 2012-02-29 Re-read the instructions. Note that nowhere do I mention clicking on the divingmule repo. Instead, press the context menu button (hold down on menu I think it is?) - keeson - 2012-02-29 Oh my bad I missed the part where you told me to use the context menu also I did not know about the context menu thank you so much! it look me awhile to find it is under the add-on information thank you again! it was really frustrating hahah - jmarshall - 2012-02-29 I know what you mean about the context menu - I hate that it's hidden in this case (and in every other case!) - you'll find it's essential to do some stuff elsewhere, so don't be afraid to bring it up in other places. Problem is that as they're "folders" and 99% of the time you're just entering them, so it would be annoying if you were nagged every time you clicked on 'em. An alternative would be listing the installed repos under "Enabled add-ons". I think it's mostly historical as to why they're not (i.e. when there was only one repo). Will look into it.
