RE: [Windows] AudioEngine testers - Windows platform only - DDDamian - 2012-05-10 22:26 There was a pull-request to eliminate WASAPI shared mode that didn't get merged into master along with the rest of AE. If you are using WASAPI and not DirectSound you may have issue with the first nightly (last night) that featured AE. This build addresses that. You can use it, or wait until tomorrow when the fix will be in the new nightly. RE: [Windows] AudioEngine testers - Windows platform only - jack0w - 2012-05-10 22:32 Thanks for the clarification on this DDDamian! Will give it a shot, keen to try out the fix for Onkyo receivers
RE: [Windows] AudioEngine testers - Windows platform only - steelman1991 - 2012-05-10 22:35 @DDDamian - this build crashes in the same way as today's nightly build did. Steelman buddy, Can you see if you have the random items add-on installed (it will be there if you have downlaoded Welo, which you mentioned you were downloading in a pm to me). If so, try moving it from the add-ons folder and launch xbmc. @dddamian... the last build you posted before the merge crashed for me when the random items add-on was installed (gets downloaded and installed when Welo is downloaded). Cheers RE: [Windows] AudioEngine testers - Windows platform only - steelman1991 - 2012-05-10 23:06 Liquid - had a look and can't see anything named like that - I did install Welo earlier today, but that was after I got the crashes with the nightly and reverting back to yesterday's nightly. Cheers buddy. Ah, guess you did a fresh install then? Cheers RE: [Windows] AudioEngine testers - Windows platform only - steelman1991 - 2012-05-10 23:16 I have - several of them. I did notice a script.randomitems folder - is that the one you mean? RE: [Windows] AudioEngine testers - Windows platform only - liquidskin76 - 2012-05-11 00:01 Thats the one! RE: [Windows] AudioEngine testers - Windows platform only - DDDamian - 2012-05-11 03:27 heh - yep, that's definitely not an AE issue sorry. Random addons sounds kinda like an invite to crash too - wonder if it grabs ones marked "broken" in repo for example. |
