If you go into Settings > Addon's > Enabled Addons > Video Addons > TVCatchup > Configure and enter your Username and Password there it should stick
Done that and it works until I reboot XBMC. Then I get a pop up telling me to input my password but it won't let me saying the addon is not configurable. I then go to the add on to enter the configuration but the "configure" option is grayed out. The only way to get it to work is to reinstall the addon but then I go around the same loop.

Ok, if you go into Userdata/addon_data you'll find a file called settings.xml you can edit that manually.

There is a problem which is outside our control and it is affecting our whole site. Our engineers have been in touch with the relevant people and they're fixing the issue as we speak.

OK, I still have a problem.........the settings.XML file has my user name and password in it but the add on is still asking me to add my details whenever I try to use it. The configure option is still greyed out.

Which file did you edit cause it sounds like you edited the one in the plugin folder.

I didn't edit any file, I went to the location you suggested and opened the file in notepad and my login details were already there.

Ah, ok, not the answer I was expecting lol. It sounds like its not reading the file properly for some reason. The fact that Configure is grey'd out has me worried too. Can you try a clean install of the plugin again please? (Sorry to be a pain, I jut don't plan on letting this one beat me lol)

I have installed the add on on a different HTPC and all looks OK so far, I can reboot and the add on still works. I will check again tomorrow just in case it is an epg update issue.

Still not working...............same problem as before, when loading the plugin a box pops up asking me to enter a user name and password but with only an "OK" button, then a second box opens stating the plugin can not be configure. When I go to addons and select TVCatchup the configure option is greyed out. This behaviour happens on both my HTPC's.

Two different skins, Aeon Nox and Aeon MQ3.
