New service has launched on 14th of march providing stream of local us streams over internet. Currently only to new York.

I wish I was in new york. I have been reading about it and want this too. I was disappointed when all those networks filed suit against them earlier this month.
anyone know how do they verify your location? billing address?
edit: damn a free 90 day trail with the invites they are handing out. now I really want to be in new york.

They verify by the billing address on your credit card.

ye its a pity they verify address by credit card. I was hoping to join with a virtual visa card and a new york vpn

I just got an invite from aereo tv, I signed up with a prepaid master card which was registered to new York. Bingo and i am in. In am in the uk they do have a ip block for the live tv, however even without a VPN on I can still make and access recording while out of new York. I got my prepaid master card from Buyfrompowerseller it allows you to register it to any address, just find a house for sale and use that.
I also have on spare invite, if any wants it?

Even i got an invite few weeks back, I live in Texas. So no luck with activation.
