If no NFO don't add to library - macdo03 - 2012-03-20 Hello, I have been reading these forums for a while to get my set up just right but haven't made any posts. Is it possible for XBMC to not add a film/tv show to the library if there is no associated nfo file? In fact I'm sure that XBMC used to function like this but then I reinstalled it so perhaps there is an option that hasn't been checked. The reason that I need this is because I don't want XBMC to add files that I haven't scanned with mediacompanion yet. Then I'll be able to setup auto update library an only items scanned with mediacompanion will be added. Thanks RE: If no NFO don't add to library - digitaltomj - 2012-03-20 I would suggest moving those unscanned files into a different folder...it would be simple and probably easier to organize in the long run, especially if as you increase your media library. RE: If no NFO don't add to library - macdo03 - 2012-03-26 Thanks for the tip. It's not the most convenient method but it works better than either waiting to scan my library until I have run my media through mediacompanion. |
