Yet another big thankyou to lambda for once again releasing an update to his awesome add-on!
A much needed update as many channels had stopped working recently.

https://github.com/lambda81/lambda-xbmc-addons/tree/master/repo/plugin.video.hellenic.tv

Released 10 days ago, it now has over 60 channels (granted many are small community/island channels) it seems to run more smoothly overall, and also caters for the recent stream changes where SKAI now uses YouTube for its LIVE streaming. Please note that already the default.py script included is outdated for SKAI and requires the YouTube stream ID to be updated. Once done, it works perfect! Smile

Cheers again!

RE: greek channels - RATLSNAKE - 2012-10-14

Hmm, even though lambda just released yet another version, it appears SKAI broke again. Since the move to YouTube they seem to be changing the video ID regularly

RE: greek channels - Help! Newbie!! - wannabe - 2012-10-20

I'm very new to XBMC and I'm trying to get the greek channels...........I must be doing something wrong as I can't find the respository for lambda.......It appears to be "Enabled" but there's no repository (that I can find). I hate to ask this, but can someone walk me through, step by step, to getting this on my XBMC? I'd greatly appreciate it.

RE: greek channels - RATLSNAKE - 2012-11-20

Damn.

Seems version 1.1.3 no longer resolves the SKAI URL. Sad I wish they would stop making changes that breaks this.

RE: greek channels - ckillinxxx - 2012-11-23

Anyone having issues with Mega channel? For the most part the other 63 greek channels work good. Just recently The main Mega channel is not loading. No changes made to the atv2 at all. Restarted unplugged etc.

Thank you

RE: greek channels - DiMag - 2012-12-30

I am looking for an xmltv file for greek channels to use with the TV Guide script. All I want to do is have a fast and efficient all-greek-channels EPG on my XBMC home screen -- not (necessarily) actually watch live TV. Any idea?

P.S. I should add that I have used XMLTV Epg Grabber and had no luck.

Hi Lamda,

Thank you for your great work. I have be having problems playing rtmp streams on hellenic radio add on. When I select to play an rtmp stream, then I get the "working" notification which fails after a minute or two. I run Frodo RC2 on Ubuntu.

Any suggestion how to resolve the problem would be greatly appreciated.

I read somewhere that the TV Guide add-on is now able to pull channels from the favorite lists. Have you given that a try?

RE: greek channels - RATLSNAKE - 2013-03-14

In 1.2.4 both Alpha and Skai do not work, and for the last few versions Ant-1 will not work.
It takes a long time for the channel to load, and it immediately pauses, and no matter how could the Internet connection or time left to buffer, it pauses as soon as you resume it.

These 3 channels need a bit of work to restore them back to working order.

RE: greek channels - lazo696 - 2013-03-16

anyone notice with the hellenic update to 1.24 certain channels play choppy

RE: greek channels - RATLSNAKE - 2013-03-22

I've noticed in recent versions most of the major channels work less and less. Sad

Alpha and SKAI will not even attempt to load, it's as if there is no code behind their buttons. Ant-1 will not load, and when it rarely does it freezes and then crashes xbmc.
