my built list, any recommendations SSD or USB? - wildzx - 2012-03-26

Ok, here is the list i and planing to buy (already purchased the case): Any mistakes or recommendations or missing any hardware that i should add:
(my use: htpc with a synology NAS, looking for to back up blu-ray files, mkv, full dts 7.1 support, hd audio, 3d content) - no gaming needs

case: Wesena Mini ITX7-2
cpu: AMD A8-3850
Motherboard: ASRock Socket FM1/AMD A75M-ITX USB 3.0
SSD: Patriout Torqx 2.5" SSD 32GB SATA II
PSU: Pico PSU- 150-XT Plus 150W Adapter Power Kit http://www.mini-box.com/picoPSU-150-XT-1...-Power-Kit
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 Or should i go with 2 x 2GB total 4gb
8 inch 4Pin Molex Male to one SATA (do i need this?)
Any cheap cheap blu-ray drive (don't need burner)?
Any bluetooth or IR remote hardware (looking for simple remote; just to XBMC HTPC use)?

follow ram suggestions in my HTPC guide.

follow bluray optical drive suggestions in my HTPC guide.

Follow IR Remote suggestions in my HTPC guide.

and im concerned about the height of the CPU Cooler for that case...

Instead of AMD A8-3850, i'll get the AMD A8-3870K ...only $10 more dollars (and as for the case 3.5" might get in the way of the cpu cooler but no need for 3.5"; so i'll just bend it...)

Ok, important question regarding hard drive? What should i use 32GB SSD (or can i go with 16GB or USB flash drive? This will be dedicated HTPC using XBMC (you tube etc..)and nothing else ? Thanks
(oh, and planing to have all the meda on the synology DS712+ or the DS412+ - just released)

32GB SSD is perfect size for W7+XBMC. For 4GB RAM, 2x2 sticks are better.....
A8-3870K is perfect for playback blu-ray in full 1080P with DTS-HD and TrueHD audio and streaming HD video too. As for the MCE bluetooth remote/keyboard/mouse combination, this might be the best choice- Lenovo N5902 Enhanced Multimedia Remote with Backlit Keyboard.

An A8-3870K + pico?...I think is to much for this small power supply. Don't forget that 150w is max 60 sec. peak power!
