XBMC Remote on XBMCbuntu - zaphyr - 2012-03-26
I'm having smallish issues getting XBMCbuntu to work atm (WiFi works, LAN doesn't),
but I just wanted to check if I need to configure something in order to use XBMC Remote work with XBMCbuntu?
I use the app all the time on XBMC on Windows, but when I set it up on XBMCbuntu it didn't work.
It didn't connect at all, and I used same settings as on Windows. I didn't troubleshoot much on this, because my first prority is to get LAN working,
but if anyone knows anything about this, I'd be happy to get some advice for future reference

Nevermind. I wasn't thinking. In Windows I connected to LAN with a static IP address, XBMCbuntu was on wifi with a different IP. Of course it didn't work
