Can't find USB-disc in XBMC - Falkens - 2012-04-03 12:23 Got my self a aTV gen. 1 and XBMC Eden. I add a USB disk (2 TB) to USB port and i try to add it to XBMC so I can get hold of all the "files" but it doesn't show in XBMC when I try to add it. Anyone know or can point to what to do. BR and thanks RE: Can't find USB-disc in XBMC - Ned Scott - 2012-04-03 23:38 IIRC, a freshly patched sticked ATV1 still needs something set to enable USB. I think it's the "combo"/"smart" installer from NitoTV? RE: Can't find USB-disc in XBMC - saddie - 2012-04-05 05:38 This is correct. See here http://www.todaywasawesome.com/enable-usb-on-the-apple-tv/ Note once you complete these steps and plug in your external HD for the first time, wait like 2-3min. It takes about 2 solid minutes for my 500GB external HD to get mounted. HD must be formatted to HFS+ or FAT32 to be read too. |
