I really really like the new glow mode!!
As an idea, is it possible to have an infopanel during video playback if the video has been paused? Panel can have plot and poster on it...

no. lot of users wouldn´t want that. pressing i seems the better solution.

Red glows, showcase view, extra info on floor, and I gotta say, Kate Beckinsale looks absolutely awesome!!

colordiffuse in all edges, needs a dark bg overlay probably to be clearly visible.

Nox 3.0 is like a totally new beginning !! skin is getting Awesome , Love the glow effect & great to hear re custom sub menus. Regarding the featured widget on custom menus / VPL's that should be showing the latest added of that particular VPL? am I doing something wrong or this is just again WIP related.

atm there are no featured widgets for custom playlists, only the old recentwidgets. just tested them, they work fine here (at least for custom home item 1)

You need the following script installed for the custom widgets to work.
