[SOLVED] XBMCbuntu - remote not working in xbmc - kimx - 2012-04-05
Hi, first of all thanks for this incredible piece of software.
I have the following problem with XBMCbuntu Eden:
The Hama MCE Remote configured to work with lirc is working properly showing the keypresses in irw.
Unfortunately the remote is not working in xbmc even with a correct Lircmap placed in the userdata folder.
Could someone point me in the right direction to solve this issue?

I have followed this howto from the wiki:

The "little" difference was that in XBMCbuntu the remote device showed up as /dev/input/irremote0 instead of irremote0. I changed the device section in teh Lircmap.xml to match the complete device string and now evrything is fine.
