Thank you. Found that bug and squashed it.

Fix in place for next release. But, you will need to ensure you have selected
Enable Manual Movie Renaming in Movie Preferences -> General tab near the bottom of the Rename Settings section.

Just a couple things. Is MC now moving to be a combo media and file manager?Devil

Using v3.6.4.9, I can select rename files under batch rescrape wizard (if that mattersSmile)

RE: Media Companion 3 beta's - Now with Music Video support - marhutchy - 2016-04-30

I have the same version (latest version). Using 32bit. Are you using the 64bit @bobrap?

Wasn't planning on it, just been hammered by some users that being able to move Movies would be helpful.

Yes, depending on your selected options, it does work, one option was excluded and therefore some users couldn't make selecting Rename Files, stick.

Damn it.

Will try and fix that in the next release.

You didn't fix it, did you? I see the same thing.

Also as I requested earlier, please let me know the export template for the file list of selected movies (not just movie files but all files with the same filename) from movie filter panel.

Realised after I had release this build, but needed to get this out as a number of significant bug fixes were done.
It'll be in the next release for sure.

Honestly, I do not know if the Export to Templates exports selected movies or all movies.
I'll check with the dev who coded this section.

How about a sort function that adds...Watched and Unwatched?

Um, whats wrong with the General Filter -> Watched or Unwatched?

Where the heck is this? I have searched everywhere and I can't see the general filter. Even tried the help and typed filers but it just shows me how to create a filter.txt file.

Here is are the Watched and Unwatched options.

Also, I keep getting this error during the batch rescrape.

Code:
System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
   at Media_Companion.MovieSetInfo.Assign(MovieSetInfo from)
   at Media_Companion.ComboList.Assign(ComboList From)

   at Media_Companion.Form1.CallSubByName(String SubName)
   at Media_Companion.Form1.BckWrkScnMovies_DoWork(Object sender, DoWorkEventArgs e)

And now I don't where I should start the rescrape. I guess I just have to rescrape everything again?

I do not believe it will only run over the filtered movies, but would need to check and test.

As for the error message. You may need to be a full refresh, then run Movie Set ID check.

Trying to get a new build up to counter the TMDB issue, so I don't have time to check the movieset section right now.

I keep getting the same error messages for various movie set movies when rescraping TMDB set names and movie set artwork.
Also movie set ID check command is checking only a half of my movie set collection.

This issue persists when running Batch Rescraper Wizard for TMDB set names and movie set artwork.
I did some investigation for movies that give the error, and here's one problem I found.
TMDB used to have "Alfred Hitchcock: The Masterpiece Collection" movie set, but now the set no longer exists in the site. So if you now scrape "The Birds (1963)", it gets no TMDB movie set. But if you already have the movie in your collection with the movie set name and set id (354777) in nfo file and try to rescrape "TMDB set names" to update the info, MC doesn't remove the non-existent set name and set id from the nfo file.
At this point, if you try to rescrape movie set artwork for the movie, if throws the errors quoted above.

RE: Media Companion 3 beta's - Now with Music Video support - tars - 2016-05-01

When rescraping TMDB set name for "James Bond Collection" movies using Batch Rescraper Wizard, many movies (For Your Eyes Only, Live and Let Die, Spectre) keeps giving the following error.

Code:
System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
   at Media_Companion.Movie.RescrapeSpecific(RescrapeList rl)
   at Media_Companion.Movies.BatchRescrapeSpecific(List`1 NfoFilenames, RescrapeList rl)
--- End of inner exception stack trace ---
at System.RuntimeMethodHandle.InvokeMethod(Object target, Object[] arguments, Signature sig, Boolean constructor)
at System.Reflection.RuntimeMethodInfo.UnsafeInvokeInternal(Object obj, Object[] parameters, Object[] arguments)
at System.Reflection.RuntimeMethodInfo.Invoke(Object obj, BindingFlags invokeAttr, Binder binder, Object[] parameters, CultureInfo culture)
   at Media_Companion.Form1.CallSubByName(String SubName)
   at Media_Companion.Form1.BckWrkScnMovies_DoWork(Object sender, DoWorkEventArgs e)

But set name and set id in nfo files of those movies have no problem at all and are identical with the info on the site. If I select those problem movies only and run rescrape movie set name via context menu command, it works without any problem. I suspect Batch Rescraper Wizard has some issue for TMDB set name.
