If you installed XBMCbuntu on your system, the username/password are whatever username/password you chose during installation and setup. I get tired of logging in and out of both as well. my2c.Just have your system boot into the XBMCbuntu desktop all the time and have an auto-start job to launch XBMC. This will give you the impression that the system boots directly in XBMC, yet you have the option at any time to windowize/minimize XBMC to access the underlying OS via the desktop. No log-out/log-in necessary. Additionally, this lets you launch applications from within XBMC that require a window manager (e.g., web browser). Personally, I'm not very fond of running XBMC "stand-alone" since I want easy access to the OS without having to go into the console. |
