RE: Crunchyroll;xbmc v0.9 build 12 - yoshiofthewire - 2014-05-18

The data source doesn't tell me what you have watched, so that is not something I can add, at least not easily.
What is the Google TV doing? What version of XBMC are you running on the GoogleTV?
Do you have an error log?

RE: Crunchyroll;xbmc v0.9 build 12 - Lusanagi - 2014-05-19

Hi Yoshi

I updated my G-Box midnight with XBMC 12.3 "the-hydra", which was released a couple of weeks ago for the PIvos DS, and works on my box since it is an M3 "clone" and still have issues with seeking:
+30 seconds seeks 30 seconds when the video is on the first minutes, in the middle is skips something like 1:10 minutes and at the end, like wanting to skip the ending, it skips about 1:45 and trying to seek -30 seconds at that point does not work and even skips 10 seconds forward, so watching a preview is not possible seeking.
+10 minutes skips 10:45 or so.
This issue does not happen with SMB files stored in my download server/NAS

Fast forward seems to work fine now, though

EDIT: I just tried rewinding and the video fast forwards instead o.O

RE: Crunchyroll;xbmc v0.9 build 12 - yoshiofthewire - 2014-05-19

Any issues with playback are most likely bugs in XBMC, and not something I can fix,

He don't run, he say : script error. That's weird because when it was Crunchyroll Takeout, it worked almost perfectly just i couldn't do pause ( sound not sync) or move forward in the video (subtitle disappeared).
I run Gotham 13.1 beta 2.

Same thing happened with playback issues I've commented lately: when it was Crunchyroll Takeout I was able to seek +30 seconds without problems both forwards and backwards =/

RE: Crunchyroll;xbmc v0.9 build 12 - yoshiofthewire - 2014-05-21

Bug Report Derivation testing:
I can replicate all the video skipping issues.
I can also replicate all the video skipping issues in the latest ffmpeg build outside of XBMC.

What is the fix? Get an ffmpeg dev to fix it and then get XBMC to update ffmpeg to include this fix.
Or make XBMC aware of the several hundred files it is playing back, and skip through the playlist.
Or get XBMC to seek to a time instead of skipping, because seeking works.
Also, VLC crashes on m3u8 playback. Smile

Now, on 13.1b2 I haven't seen the script error, so I need a log file djfred93.
Also, I don't have a GoogleTV to test.

Crunchyroll Plugin on Amazon FireTV - azothforgotten - 2014-05-23

I've been testing out XBMC on my Amazon Fire TV and everything seems to work great. This plugin won't launch though. I'm using Gotham 13.0 for Android (ARM). It just pops up with a failure to launch script error. Any help you could give would be appreciated. I added the error that comes up in the log file. It could be the same issue with the Google TV.

I have the exact same problem on my OUYA with XBMC 13. It seems to be a problem with android.
I hope there's a fix. I hate the official app.

RE: Crunchyroll;xbmc v0.9 build 12 - yoshiofthewire - 2014-05-24

I see what the problem is. I'm trying to open the save file for read / write, and it being told no.
And while I don't have this problem on my Nexus 7, I did have a problem for a while where I couldn't install plugins at all.
And yes, I do think this may be an XBMC issue. For some reason I don't think XBMC is getting write permissions to the external storage.
Yes it is asking for USB write permissions. And no, I don't know why we don't have those rights.

And I will test on my Ouya in the next few days. I have to plug it back in.
It is a very nice looking brick.

RE: Crunchyroll;xbmc v0.9 build 12 - uteck - 2014-05-25

I keep getting a dependency error with the new version on OpenElec. What does it depend on? It was working fine on OE 12.2, but the update to 13 broke it. I see it says there is update available for the plugin, but it wont install.

I did uninstll therepo, then reinstalled the latest download. but no go.

RE: Crunchyroll;xbmc v0.9 build 12 - uteck - 2014-05-25

Edit 3,
one more force fresh and now it installed. I guess the Pi is a bit slow and needs a few minutes to process the updated repo.

Thanks!

RE: Crunchyroll;xbmc v0.9 build 12 - wangel - 2014-05-25

I can't seem to get this to install on Gotham... and it looks like Google is broke?

When I try to refresh for plugins, I get this in the log file:

14:07:18 T:2838752064 ERROR: Open - failed to open source <http://urlxl-repo.googlecode.com/git/gotham/addons.xml>

Trying to manually browse there gives you an error.

Also, If I try to read the changelog, I get a 404 from google.

It also seems to be failing with Frodo too.... looks like all the urls are either 404 or 403 errors from google.

Thanks!

Google Code was broken. I pushed a New Repo to GitHub.

RE: Crunchyroll;xbmc v0.9 build 14 - Hakenz - 2014-05-27

New GitHub Repo is empty...
I Already do a force refresh and nothing.
Using OpenElec 4.0.
