Suitable client PC - willplaice - 2012-04-23 12:45 Hi I have a Pulse-eight box - currently running their build - and am about to replace this with a "fuller" linux build so that i can get support for my usb spdif adaptors. I need another client, and wondered what was most important - i am getting pixelation on HD streams with the AMD fusion box, so wondered if the nvidia equipped atom mini pcs would be better ? if anyone has any comments on how to improve my streaming performance (using Mediaportal) that would be good too. Will RE: Suitable client PC - Killer_Rabbit - 2012-05-12 05:00 I don't know if it will work with Mediaportal, but if openELEC will work, there is a build designed for fusion the fusion platform. I found XvBA drivers (required for good performance) a bit of a pain to, and its just nice to have a prebuild platform that will just work. |
