I'm also having issues with cast/role, and also certifications. With IMDB as the source it only pulls in 1 or 2 actors, and no roles are listed. It appears to still work fine using IMDBfull though. Certification (mpaa) is blank in both cases.

However, I couldn't reproduce the issue with the mpaa certification. It comes up fine for me.

I am late to the party and had some issues with UMS after a opkg update to kodi 17.6 , it got stuck.( it kept running until i hard powerdown and rebooted.)
UMS olympia TK 3.1.9 and TMDB TK 5.1.2 , did what was told above, change to TMDB and change to region language, change back to UMS.
seems to work now don't find all titles but that can a be title error
some things are also in tvdbscan not visible also that can be writing error.
After opkg update i was a bit in shock: total new skin. have to find all settings again, but it grow on me. i like the new interface.
(Stil need to learn to navigate doh if i want to debug something or change settings.)

Certification (mpaa) is blank in both cases.I had an issue with MPAA ratings not scraping that was fixed by making sure the country settings were set to "United States" and not "USA." I'm not sure if that's the same issue you're having.

I had to go into the scraper settings change USA/International for preferred language to United States/International. And under Rating, I changed Preferred Certification Country to United States and not USA.

Another issue I noticed in 4.1.9. I don't know if this is intended, but I'm seeing some movies scraping an alternative title rather than using the main IMDB USA/International title. These alternative titles are found in the "also known as" section of an IMDB movie.
For example, It's a Wonderful Life is scraping as "Frank Capra's It's a Wonderful Life." Samurai III: Duel at Ganryu Island is scraping as "Bushido." These movies used to previously scrape with their standard titles that matched the main IMDB USA titles.

I updated the IMDB scraper to 3.0.5 and tested with the same title and it worked like a charm. Thanks olympia! I'll see if I can come up with more details on that mpaa rating not coming across. Thanks again for all your work!!

example with the naming convention that I use ( I add the IMDB id # just for good measure ) ......
Batman [1989] tt0096895.mkv is the movie file
Batman [1989] tt0096895-fanart.jpg is the backdrop or fanart file
Batman [1989] tt0096895-poster.jpg is the poster file (dvd cover usually although I like theatre posters too)
Batman [1989] tt0096895-trailer.m4v is the trailer that I have supplied locally
These naming conventions, fanart, poster, trailer, clear art, cdart etc are all found in the KODI docs somewhere, I am sure.
Hope this helped without stepping on any toes.
P.S. after sorting and scraping and manually adding stuff and when you have it all just the way you like it, Tell KODI to export the library into separate files and it will store them alongside your media in case you have to rebuild your library without an internet connection and much faster than waiting on fanart.tv when it servers are loaded down.

The only correction to your post is CDart. For movies and tv shows we use disc and Artwork Beef uses DiscArt. CDart is used by the cdART Manager add-on for the Music Library. But that naming convention will change for the release of v18. What the new name is has not been decided yet.

I'm running v4.1.9 and have a single movie that I need to scrape. I keep getting the error: Unable to connect to the remote server when I attempt to scan it to the library.
The error in the log is:

By 'for now' do you mean this a temporary thing? Like, you've changed the key because of their shit, or TMDb.org have revoked the keys to fight the dodgy add-ons?
If it's a more permanent thing, and I apply for my own key, can I update the add-on via cli to use that? Is that even possible?
