Hi,
How bout creating a button dedicated to subtitles next to play/pause/stop etc?
I find myself want to change subtitle but find it messy to go into sound options to scroll down and then change subtitles.
A simple button to bind the keyboard for going through the available subtitles would be helpsome

Maybe this helps you and is less work than coding a button
