I did the jail break again and the wired speed is now constantly 1MB/s, roughly 20.6 megabits per second, which is quite acceptable for 720p MKV movies. I will try to investigate further why 100baseT of AVT2 only transmit that speed just for curiousity.
Cool. Let us know how you go. I've only got the one ATV2 and tend to get in trouble when it's not available for viewing because I'm "always testing".
