XBMC Hanging Issues - SpaceCoyote - 2012-05-05 14:11
I feel like I'm very close to getting my ATV 1, with Crystal HD card and OpenELEC distribution running the way I want it, but right now I've got some random hanging issues.
Rather than me just logging everything in sight, if someone could point me in the right direction for a debug process I'd be very grateful.

Uninstall gnome applications if you have because its makes xbmc very unstable

I'm running OpenELEC at the moment and nothing else has been installed apart from XBMC and two addons, the library update and backup.
I think I have narrowed the problem down to the current beta version of OpenELEC not offloading decoding to the CrystalHD card. I am currently working through the issue on the OpenELEC forums.
