can't watch movies from my library on my TV - blindeye - 2012-05-21 Hi all, this is my first post, so first let me say hello. I have a lot of movies on my computer in both MKV and AVI format. I also have DLNA capable bluray player and tv I have installed XBMC on my computer and setup my library. when I go to my TV, XBMC shows up as a DLNA client and I can view my library. however, when I try to play a movie, I simply get the message "cannot play" Any ideas on what I have done wrong? thanks RE: can't watch movies from my library on my TV - Chris! - 2012-05-21 Can the Blu-ray player/TV play avi/mkv files? I do it successfully from flash drive all the time RE: can't watch movies from my library on my TV - whitebelly - 2012-05-21 Using WINDOWS? Make sure your folder is shared. Some TVs don't like XBMC as a dlna server, try Serviio, it works for me. |
