XBMC Eden, Harmony One Remote - nagmar - 2012-06-02
I have been searching forums for solutions to this answer: Why does Eden keep crashing
I am using a harmony one remote on Linux and the addition to Eden to automatically accept remote commands from a range of remotes is awesome, though somewhat confusing.
I think many users are confusing eden crashing from their remote sending power commands to XBMC which will either minimise, shutdown, hibernate or what ever your power setting in XBMC is set too.
So i thought i would post this to say to all users that think their XBMC is crashing, check your remotes and other devices and ensure they are not sending power commands to XBMC. Mine was and since adjusting the remote not to turn the remote on or off when selecting different functions, XBMC Eden is a dream to use and operates perfectly.
