Flickering screen - rocks911 - 2012-06-09
I tried XBMC last year about this time but had some troubles getting it tweaked just right.
I just now downloaded it again and after installation I opened it and the UI was blinking.
I could hardly set up a scan of my files.
My system:
AMD Phenom™ II X6 1065T Processor
FOXCONN 2A92 Motherboard
16.00 GB total memory
ATI Radeon HD 5570 video card (obviously not the greatest)
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 7601 Multiprocessor Free Service Pack 1
Any thoughts?

That doesn't sound right. Your hardware is more than enough to get up and running and play just about anything you could want.
See if you can get us a debug log (wiki), even if it's just of XBMC starting up and doing very basic things. It might tell us what's causing the issue.

I'm not doing anything too taxing, my CPU usage is miniscule. The screen is still flickering. Running XBMC is the only time it does it.
