I'm not savy on this matters, but it seems that there is something "wrong" with the API.
Either Twitch updated their system and we'll need to wait for a new revision of the plug in, or dunno what else

Yea there something weird going on.. Different time of the day it works fine.. I was originally thinking it was something to do with the ads at the start of stream that might be causing a problem.

Try from Github install first "script.module.python.twitch-2.0.10.zip" then install "plugin.video.twitch-2.4.7.zip".

Hey there, not sure how to install this 2.4.7 version from Github ? Will the repo in kodi be updated as well so it's done automatically by kodi ?

You should be able to do a simple "Instal from zip file" and point to where you'll download that 2.4.7 version thingy my friend

confirmed, works too for me. 2.4.5 from repo does not (on all streams only getting errors about wrong protocol). when will repo be updated?

All,
I did a quick search for anything related to "Twitch" and I can't seem to find my answer. If there is a thread that this has already been solved in recently please point me to it. I am running Kodi 18.5 on Vero4K. When I try to watch anything on Twitch, streaming or not, I get the error "Check to log for more information". I could use this add on before the latest update. I was able to SSH into the box and grab the following logs with these commands:
grab-logs -A
dmesg | paste-log

So far I have revoked my OAuth Token and have generated a new one. I have disabled and re-enabled the app. I have also deleted it completely and installed it fresh, again with a new OAuth Token. I've rebooted the Vero as well. I've tried clearing the cache using other add-ons, but all have failed with the same message "Failed to install add on: The dependency on version could not be satisfied".
Has anyone seen this before?

@isamudaison The add-on has been awaiting review for a couple days. It takes time.
@POTI I would need a debug log (wiki) and a description of what exactly isn't working. Generating a new oauth token is working for me in Python 3.x. Just a note, the url is case-sensitive
