Working fine for months and a couple of days ago I just started getting errors every time I started a stream. The following log shows clean install with no OAuth Token and then with it enabled. I'm not savy on this matters, but it seems that there is something "wrong" with the API. Either Twitch updated their system and we'll need to wait for a new revision of the plug in, or dunno what else RE: [RELEASE] Twitch.tv - JSLee - 2019-11-18 Yea there something weird going on.. Different time of the day it works fine.. I was originally thinking it was something to do with the ads at the start of stream that might be causing a problem. RE: [RELEASE] Twitch.tv - xalaros10 - 2019-11-19 Try from Github install first "script.module.python.twitch-2.0.10.zip" then install "plugin.video.twitch-2.4.7.zip". RE: [RELEASE] Twitch.tv - M4MKey - 2019-11-20 Hey there, not sure how to install this 2.4.7 version from Github ? Will the repo in kodi be updated as well so it's done automatically by kodi ? You should be able to do a simple "Instal from zip file" and point to where you'll download that 2.4.7 version thingy my friend https://github.com/MrSprigster/Twitch-on-Kodi/releases/tag/2.4.7 RE: [RELEASE] Twitch.tv - ExGemini - 2019-11-21 (2019-11-19, 09:59)xalaros10 Wrote: Try from Github install first "script.module.python.twitch-2.0.10.zip" then install "plugin.video.twitch-2.4.7.zip". Works like a charm RE: [RELEASE] Twitch.tv - M4MKey - 2019-11-21 (2019-11-21, 15:28)ExGemini Wrote:You should be able to do a simple "Instal from zip file" -> From where ? Kodi directly ? I can only download new extensions from repositories. Should I unzip the content into my flash storage directly then ?(2019-11-20, 00:09)M4MKey Wrote: Hey there, not sure how to install this 2.4.7 version from Github ? RE: [RELEASE] Twitch.tv - DjDiabolik - 2019-11-22 Great.... 2.4.7 and new module 2.0.10 working good also on my setup how i ever use. Thanks for quick fix. Twitch: Check the log for more information - iron.max - 2019-11-23 All, I did a quick search for anything related to "Twitch" and I can't seem to find my answer. If there is a thread that this has already been solved in recently please point me to it. I am running Kodi 18.5 on Vero4K. When I try to watch anything on Twitch, streaming or not, I get the error "Check to log for more information". I could use this add on before the latest update. I was able to SSH into the box and grab the following logs with these commands: grab-logs -A dmesg | paste-log The logs can be found here: https://paste.osmc.tv/xefoboluka https://paste.osmc.tv/tecarekazo So far I have revoked my OAuth Token and have generated a new one. I have disabled and re-enabled the app. I have also deleted it completely and installed it fresh, again with a new OAuth Token. I've rebooted the Vero as well. I've tried clearing the cache using other add-ons, but all have failed with the same message "Failed to install add on: The dependency on version could not be satisfied". Has anyone seen this before? RE: [RELEASE] Twitch.tv - DarrenHill - 2019-11-23 @iron.max I've merged your thread into the main support thread for the addon (this one). RE: [RELEASE] Twitch.tv - isamudaison - 2019-11-23 This add-on should really be marked as broken until the repo is updated... Thank you! Working well again! RE: [RELEASE] Twitch.tv - POTI - 2019-11-26 I am able to watch random streamers, but I am unable to generate a new Oauth token. using the 2.4.7 with the new python. RE: [RELEASE] Twitch.tv - anxdpanic - 2019-11-27 @iron.max https://github.com/MrSprigster/Twitch-on-Kodi/releases/tag/2.4.7 @isamudaison The add-on has been awaiting review for a couple days. It takes time. @POTI I would need a debug log (wiki) and a description of what exactly isn't working. Generating a new oauth token is working for me in Python 3.x.
