Playback Issue Streaming to Xbox 360 - tc472 - 2012-06-23
Hi Folks,
I'm new to this forum, only recently found out about XBMC.
If this is posted in the wrong section, apologies.
I have tried to stream movie files from my PC to xbox 360 using XBMC. I seem to have an issue with MKV files that XBMC does not recognise the format. I have the latest stable build and my connection is hard wired.
Can anyone offer some suggestions please?

Yes the problem lies in the file formats/codecs that your xbox 360 can play.
Mkv is, as far as nothing has changed not a video format that the xbox 360 can play.
What you want is a HDMI cable from your PC to your TV. With possibly a DVI to HDMI adapter. Trust me, i'm a doctor.
