Tip ~ XBMC Server CPU Idle - Bunto Skiffler - 2012-06-29 Hello, hope you are all doing well. If you've noticed by now on Eden that the CPU idle is higher than viewing a movie, you'll be concerned about leaving the server on 24/7. Here's a tip: when you are not using your XBMC server just exit into the new desktop login screen instead of leaving it on the XBMC homescreen. 0% cpu idle there. ps. I've done all that (dirty regions, vbsync only video, crossed fingers, etc) RE: Tip ~ XBMC Server CPU Idle - lrusak - 2012-06-29 is this for xbmbuntu? or? unless xbmc continues running this kind of defeats the purpose of having a server on 24/7 anyways and you might as well shut it down. |
