Any function to VIDEO_TS folder? - a_legs - 2012-07-15
Hello.
I have my movie folders organized fairly normally for DVD rips with VIDEO_TS folders, ie.
Movies/Fight Club [1999]
Movies/Fight Club [1999]/folder.jpg
Movies/Fight Club [1999]/fanart.jpg
Movies/Fight Club [1999]/VIDEO_TS/VIDEO_TS.IFO
Movies/Fight Club [1999]/VIDEO_TS/VIDEO_TS.VOB
Movies/Fight Club [1999]/VIDEO_TS/VIDEO_TS.nfo
XBMC recognizes this fine, but Ember MM doesn't seem to like my folder/fanart files being in the parent directory... and XBMC doesn't like them in the VIDEO_TS folder if they are named folder.jpg and fanart.jpg.
I am wondering if I can just move everything in the VIDEO_TS folder into the parent directory. I've tried this and haven't experienced any problems but I am wondering if this is a bad idea for some reason I have not considered (before I rename my entire collection).

It may not work on other players. Technically it's not a correct DVD structure - XBMC doesn't care though.
