Will Windows 7 be ok on this - vjmcdonnell - 2012-07-16 12:27 I have being using XBMC for over a year with Ubuntu. Im getting tired of linux as every few weeks there is something wrong with it and sudo this and that. Also having being using Eden XBMCbuntu I dont feel its as stable as it was before. My MB is this http://www.picco.nl/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=67_68&products_id=3842 It has 2gb of ram and a 32gb SSD Will Windows 7 run well on this. Also any recommendations for antivirus with a small footprint. Thanks RE: Will Windows 7 be ok on this - jhsrennie - 2012-07-16 13:30 I use Win7 on an Acer Revo 3610 that has a very similar spec to your PC, and it works fine. In fact that's with a conventional disk not an SSD, so your setup should be considerably faster. Hope to do this on Thursday. Fun fun fun RE: Will Windows 7 be ok on this - thrak76 - 2012-07-16 22:40 64 bit. There's really no need for 32 bit anymore. It's still surviving because of legacy issues. |
